Every January we start the year with high hopes and aspirations for what the upcoming year will hold. Many people set resolutions and start new journeys in the hope that by the end of the year they will have improved various parts of their lives. Our campaign is no different; we have set goals and expectations for the upcoming year and are excited about the journey we have begun to get Damon elected to be California’s next Secretary of State.
Another journey that I wanted to share with you took Damon to the Bay Area where he spoke during Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Weekend to Pilgrim Baptist Church. His message was simple: “Release Your Dreams.” He urged the congregation to work to achieve on these journeys. The message was well received and set the stage for the momentum that is building in favor of Damon’s candidacy.
