Assemblyman Danny Gilmore and Assemblywoman Diane Harkey Endorse Damon Dunn for California Secretary of State

SACRAMENTO – Damon Dunn, Republican candidate for Secretary of State, today added the endorsements of California Republican State Assemblymembers Danny Gilmore (R-Hanford) and Diane Harkey (R-Dana Point) to his growing list of California leaders that have endorsed his campaign to be California’s next Secretary of State.

“Damon Dunn is a tireless, accomplished leader who has given his time, talent, and resources in the service of others, while seeking nothing in return,” said Assemblyman Gilmore. “From humble roots and a life of extreme poverty, Damon’s life is what many consider the American Dream to be all about. He’s achieved what most would consider impossible, and his commitment to helping others in need though his various mentorships and community-based programs is a clear reminder that Damon has made a commitment to give back and bring positive change to those in need. I have no doubt that Damon is the right person with the character and experience to help lead California as our next Secretary of State.”

“From living in a three bedroom trailer with nine other people, to becoming an outstanding student athlete at Stanford University, and becoming a successful businessman, Damon Dunn’s story is a powerful reminder of what an individual can accomplish in America,” said Assemblywoman Diane Harkey. “Damon has made it a priority throughout his entire life to engage underprivileged Latino and African American kids- never forgetting his community. A unique and tireless leader, Damon Dunn is the right candidate for Secretary of State.”
